Follow our 5 step guide to achieving the perfect move:-1. PRE-MOVE SURVEY AT YOUR HOME
The purpose of this initial meeting is to:-
- Assess your moving requirements correctly and provide you with our quotation.
- Explain how the moving process works, whether by Road, Air or Sea.
- To provide information on subjects such as packing, insurance, shipping times and customs clearance.
2. BEFORE YOU MOVE
Agree & book moving dates and complete documentation as necessary, including
- customs documents
- insurance proposal form
- pre-move check list
3. YOUR MOVE
Greens staff have undergone extensive training in export packing and the use of specialist packing materials, crates and cases.

Depending on your chosen destination, your move will be undertaken either by Road, Air or Sea, (or a combination of these).
ROAD: Greens Removals operates a fleet of vehicles handling moves as far afield as Scandinavia and Southern Spain. We also work closely with a number of specialist trade partners to ensure the highest quality of service and attention to detail.
AIR: Greens specialise in air shipments and have a dedicated operation based close to London Heathrow to handle export and import consignments.
SEA: Depending on the size and urgency of your shipment, your effects can be shipped in three ways:
a) Full Container Load - F.C.L. 20' or 40' container - Used for your belongings only.
b) Less than Container Load - L.C.L. Your effects will be packed into wooden containers for extra security and shipped in a shared container.
c) Groupage - shared containerThis is a similar service to LCL an normally ideal for smaller shipments. Your belongings will be carefully loaded into a shared container with other household consignments going to the same destination to keep moving costs to a minimum.
5. DELIVERY & UNPACKING
Depending on your chosen method of shipment your consignment will be delivered as follows:
ROAD: (Usually EU destinations) Our vehicle will travel to your chosen destination to arrive on the agreed date. The crew will unload and place your belongings as directed, unpack and remove the used materials on the day of delivery.
AIR: Greens will arrange customs clearance upon arrival at the destination airport. Your belongings will normally be moved to our agents warehouse who will liaise with you to arrange delivery and unpacking at your new home.
SEA: Greens will arrange customs clearance upon arrival at destination port.
For full container shipments, our agents will arrange direct delivery from the port of entry to your new home if possible. The crew will unload and place your belongs as directed, unpack and remove used packing material on the day of delivery.
For part-load shipments, your belongings will be transported in the container to our agents warehouse where they will be unloaded. Our agent will liaise with you to arrange delivery to your new home. The crew will unload and place your belongs as directed, unpack and remove used packing material on the day of delivery.
